In the Moving Image Acting Studio...
Moving Image is the studio where the performance training philosophy of founder Alison Henderson is explored and experienced. "I believe in the mind/body/soul connection. By understanding and utilizing this connection, the performer discovers more about him/herself and the relationship to the character portrayed."
Training at Moving Image has three goals:
- Reveal to the performer more about himself
- Awaken the body to its full movement potential
- Enliven the mind/body/soul connection
These three principles guide the curriculum of all the classes and workshops. No matter the age or experience of the participant, the result is a fully embodied performance that moves both actor and audience.
Move your body…blow your mind!
All theater classes and workshops are taught by professional actors and directors! All classes culminate in a final performance or showcase on the stage.
